Successful candidates must be willing to roll up their sleeves, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.The role offers exposure to a broad range of finance leadership, as well as opportunities to engage across a variety of accounting and financial disciplines. The candidate will gain visibility into end-to-end finance processes, from accounting through FP&A.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare, analyze, and post journal entries and complete various month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial statement completion in accordance with US GAAPSupport accounting related to cash, prepaids, accruals, and general accountingOversee accounting related to fixed assets and CIP globallyAssists in the compilation of supporting documents and variance explanations for external audit requirementsIdentify areas of opportunity/weakness within business processes and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiencySupport various ad-hoc projects across the accounting & finance departmentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required2-4+ years of general accounting experience; preferably including Retail/Wholesale/Consumer GoodsHigh intellectual curiosity and honestyStrong problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to accuracyProactive approach; independently identifies and solves problemsStrong excel skills and experienceWhat Orveon Offers YouYou are a creator of Orveon's success and your own.
