Estimator & Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Estimator & Project Manager to manage commercial aluminum window and glazing projects from initial bid through project completion. This position will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing accurate estimates and budgets, coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, project management, commercial building products, glass/glazing, or aluminum window systems, along with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate material, labor, and project cost estimates and competitive bids.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and financial information.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Clarify project requirements, material specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, estimates, schedules, and correspondence.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and communicate variances as needed.
• Support procurement and coordination of materials with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, budget, schedule, and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating and/or project management.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with commercial construction, glass and glazing, aluminum windows, storefront systems, curtain wall, or related building products is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost estimating, material takeoffs, labor pricing, and budgeting.
• Proficiency with estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams in a remote environment.
• Degree or relevant education in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
