Many of these systems are designed around the APCO Project 25 communications standard, often with interfaces to other critical customers' sub-systems. With the growth of data services some of our customers’ mobile wireless networks are being enhanced with connectivity to an LTE infrastructure, leveraging compelling applications and live mobile video, supplementing our traditional core voice and narrow-band data networks.Job DescriptionNOTE: Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. If your background is a match to our requirements, we’ll follow up with an exploratory conversation.Role Responsibilities:Lead customer presentationsSystem stagingComplete system documentationLive system upgradesEnsuring the integrity of the architecture/designIndividuals will be responsible for carrying out field engineering duties during a radio system upgrade cycle. He/she will be responsible for upgrading/deploying various devices which include network gear, Windows-based devices, virtual machines and Motorola proprietary devices. Along with above duties, individuals will be a customer facing technical resource through the upgrade effort.
