Safety Leader

A food manufacturing organization is seeking a Safety Leader to lead plant safety programs and ensure a safe, accident-free work environment at a food processing plant. He/She will be responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of facility-wide health and safety programs and delivering training in collaboration with the onsite and corporate teams. The Role Manage all aspects of health and safety programs and regulations at the plant; Promote an accident-free work environment by developing programs that will train, monitor, and assure a safe workplace; Assist in accident investigations and prepare accident reports required by regulatory agencies; Conduct inspections and audits at the plant and at other nearby facilities to identify potential accident hazards and determine corrective or preventative measures accordingly. The Candidate A Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of related experience, with demonstrated experience leading the health and safety function; A consistent track record of driving the health and safety agenda for a safe workplace at a plant level with at least a few hundred employees; In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, reporting, and record-keeping requirements; Supervisory experience with successfully leading and managing direct reports is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
