Patient Services Associate - Shared Clinics

Responsibilities Coordinate and provide patient support services such as answering phones, directing calls, greeting patients/visitors Maintain patient medical records via EMR or paper charts Assist with patient scheduling Perform office functions Handle patient payments as applicable Assist management in leading the day-to-day operations Register and check in patients, greeting patients and visitors Update patient demographics and insurance coverage in computer system Interact with patients and staff inquiries Perform check‑out processes inclusive but limited to co-pay collections Monitor length of patient’s wait and notify appropriate party of excessive wait times Track and record patient information or program data when applicable Schedule appointments when directed Requirements High School diploma or equivalent One year of customer service experience Skill in problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while providing exceptional customer service. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
