Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Principal Duties and Responsibilities Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applications HVAC systems selection, sizing and design (ductwork and piping) Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards Engineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy services Perform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines Ability to write technical proposals and reports Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 3+ years’ experience in HVAC Design CEM, EIT highly preferred Knowledge of OSHPD codes are a plus Computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Adobe Acrobat. Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus.
