Manufacturing Engineering Manager We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment focused on complex, precision-built components. The company emphasizes continuous improvement, technical leadership, and high standards in CNC machining. Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and hands‑on support for multi‑axis CNC machining operations (primarily 5‑ and 7‑axis milling). Manage and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and CNC programmers (3–5 direct reports). Lead major process improvement projects, capital expenditures (CapEx), and new product introductions (NPI). Instill a culture of operational excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S frameworks. Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, quality, and management to drive process efficiency, quality improvements, and plant initiatives. Direct involvement in automation initiatives and technology investments. Maintain strong floor presence while balancing project and people management duties. Qualifications: Strong technical foundation in CNC machining (high complexity, multi‑axis, high‑mix/low‑volume). Project management experience and a proven track record implementing process and productivity improvements. Hands‑on leadership style, capable of both managing and mentoring a technical team. Aerospace manufacturing experience and/or airfoil component familiarity highly valued, but top priority is deep practical CNC experience. Experience with Mastercam, NX, or similar advanced CAM tools a plus.
