# Shipping/Receiving Clerk

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented **Shipping/Receiving Clerks** for a busy food service distribution environment. This role is responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing products, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure orders move through the facility efficiently and accurately.

## Pay

**$15.00–$17.00 per hour**, depending on experience.

## Available Shifts

### Shift 1

- Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

- Saturday: 5:00 AM – Finish, typically around 5:00 PM

- Sunday: 6:00 AM – Finish, typically around 3:00 PM

- Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

### Shift 2

- Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 PM

**Please note:** End times may vary depending on workload and daily shipping volume.

## Responsibilities

- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently

- Verify quantities, product information, shipping documents, and receiving paperwork

- Prepare and organize bills of lading, packing slips, manifests, and other shipping documentation

- Enter shipment and receiving information into computer systems

- Coordinate with warehouse personnel, drivers, supervisors, and other departments

- Check orders for accuracy before shipment

- Assist with scheduling and tracking inbound and outbound deliveries

- Maintain organized shipping and receiving records

- Identify and report shortages, damages, discrepancies, or incorrect shipments

- Follow company food safety, sanitation, and warehouse procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Perform additional shipping, receiving, and administrative duties as assigned

## Qualifications

- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred

- Experience in food distribution, produce, refrigerated warehousing, or a similar environment is a plus

- Basic computer and data-entry skills

- Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse employees, and management

- Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

- Must be comfortable working extended hours and weekends based on the assigned shift

## Preferred Experience

Candidates with previous experience as a **Shipping Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Clerk, Logistics Clerk, Inventory Clerk, Dispatch Clerk, or Shipping/Receiving Coordinator** are encouraged to apply.
