Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), PCU

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

PCU RN required for 4th Floor East Wing, providing high-quality patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients aged 15 and older, with patient ratios of 1:4 during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care aligning with hospital policies.
• Administer common drips and medications, including PCA pumps, cardizem, and insulin.
• Coordinate with unit support staff including educators, care managers, and therapy teams.
• Participate in regular hourly rounding and maintain high responsiveness standards.
• Float as needed to Medical-Surgical areas based on staff requirements.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• Competency in telemetry expected.
• Experience with EPIC charting system and Alaris IV pumps preferred.
