Punch Operator | Pay: $14-17.00 per hour | Monday- Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Play a critical role in serving the commercial, agricultural, and defense industries when you become a Laser/Punch Operator for a custom fabricator of metal solutions in Lake Mary, FL. You will operate computer-controlled punch machines to produce blanks for manufacturing operations or as finished flat parts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read production paperwork to determine specified requirements to manufacture
• Check parts using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
• Will load program into control to run correct parts and quantities
• Quality assurance: remove cut pieces from sheet and examine for defects associated with punching including edge quality and surface nonconformities
• Perform basic setups involving prewritten programs

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in operating a press machine within a manufacturing setting
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
