Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Job Description Company: GIA Group Inc. Location: Plant City, Florida Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: On-Site GIA Group Inc. is seeking an experienced, responsible, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Manage and review payroll records Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets Monitor company cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables Maintain accurate inventory accounting and reconcile inventory records Prepare and maintain sales tax records and filings Assist with budgeting and financial analysis Maintain organized accounting documentation and internal controls Coordinate with the company’s CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting Provide regular financial reports to company management Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend improvements to financial procedures Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Experience with AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliation, and financial statements Strong understanding of general accounting principles Inventory or wholesale/distribution accounting experience is highly preferred Strong Excel and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality CPA certification is a plus, but not required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred What We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced accountant who can take ownership of the company’s accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and provide management with clear and timely financial information.
