The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the company's financial operations, integrating new technologies, and modern change management practices. This role involves providing strategic leadership and hands-on management of all accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions, with a focus on institutional stewardship, financial resilience, and informed decision-making. The AVP, Controller will also be a trusted strategic advisor to the VP, Chief Financial Officer, and will oversee a large team, ensuring the company's financial functions are in line with the highest standards of excellence. Applicants for the AVP, Controller position at the company should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred, and an active CPA designation. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to operational excellence. They must demonstrate intellectual curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and drive efficiency.
