Machine Technician

Machine Technician Mechanical This candidate will be responsible for mechanically configuring our machines to the customer's CNC lathe specifications. This includes mechanical adjustments, disassembly and modifications of mechanical sub-assemblies, and the final installation and testing of the machine's accessories. Ability to perform some basic wiring tasks on the machines' high voltage and 24-volt communication system is required. Qualifications Mechanical skills: Must be an above average mechanic, be skilled with hand and power tools, and possess professional work habits. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in machine building or automotive repair. Electrical skills: Proficiency using a multimeter and following a wiring diagram or schematic for the purposes of performing basic wiring. Ability and willingness to learn more advanced wiring and troubleshooting techniques with training. General skills: Knowledge of overhead crane operation, fork truck experience, and a commercial driver's license are pluses. Candidate must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Technical school certificate in related disciplines is preferred, but equivalent and demonstrated practical experience is acceptable.
