Travel RN – Stepdown / PCU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU unit, monitoring patients requiring intermediate-level care
• Perform continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Stepdown or PCU environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
