The Retail Assistant Store Manager helps the Retail Store Manager lead the sales team, forging connections with customers and communicating Vuori’s brand values through product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook. What you’ll get to do Create an unforgettable customer experience Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best experience possible. Takes ownership of the sales floor and the sales team to keep customer experience as the first priority. Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback to customers about merchandise style and fit. Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging about product details, new product, and replenishment; invite them to upcoming events. Share knowledge of new and best‑selling items with both customers and the team. Be the business Lead the team in day‑to‑day operations when the Store Manager is absent. Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team‑based commission environment. Seek new product knowledge in active‑wear and fashion to serve as an expert for customers. Guide the team in project completion while maintaining focus on customer experience. Communicate inventory needs to support business goals. Leadership/Ownership Assist the Store Inventory Lead in processing all product shipments and inventory management. Collaborate with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community, and team management. Lead the team in daily store maintenance, restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning. Adhere to protocol and safety standards when closing/opening the store. Encourage employees to give 100 % and maintain punctuality and role responsibilities. Operations Complete weekly manual restock and send report to inventory management. Complete weekly cycle counts. Assist in processing weekly shipments. Ensure all store supplies are stocked and communicate needs monthly. Process online returns and defective products and ship to the warehouse. Handle day‑to‑day restock and destock. Keep the backroom clean and bins organized. Manage the Aloha displays, refreshing and restocking weekly. Manage mannequins and check one‑offs. Ensure all merchandising standards are met on the floor. Who you are Available for morning or evening 8‑hour shifts, 5 days/week, with at least one weekend day. Lead by punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts. Develop relationships with customers and colleagues. Customer‑service expert who creates experiences and embraces social aspects of sales. Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Quickly learn new procedures and processes. Strong organizational and follow‑through skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Own high level of accountability and initiative.
