This role combines visionary leadership with hands-on execution to deliver best-in-class experiences for shoppers, retailers, and partners.**Key Responsibilities****Strategic Leadership*** Define and implement portfolio strategies that align with company objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.* Drive initiatives that elevate asset performance, strengthen tenant partnerships, and create engaging environments for guests.* Translate organizational priorities into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.**Operational Excellence*** Oversee all aspects of property operations, ensuring seamless experiences across maintenance, security, and marketing touchpoints.* Maintain compliance with regulatory standards while embedding sustainability and innovation into daily operations.* Introduce technology-driven solutions and cost-optimization strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.* Collaborate with marketing teams to amplify brand presence and enrich the customer journey.**Financial Stewardship*** Develop and manage annual budgets and business plans to support portfolio objectives.* Maximize income and optimize expense targets* Monitor key financial indicators to ensure strong performance.* Lead forecasting, audits, and reporting with accuracy and transparency.* Partner on rent collection and resolve legal matters with a balanced, strategic approach.**Tenant & Retailer Engagement*** Build trusted relationships with national and regional retail partners to enhance the shopping experience.* Drive the Customer & Content Strategy to guide Leasing to the optimal tenant mix.* Create and support improvements that benefit both retailers and customers.* Analyze sales trends and co-tenancy impacts to inform proactive strategies.**Leadership & Team Development*** Inspire and mentor high-performing shopping center management teams focused on delivering exceptional service, leading both the center and region* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.* Drive employee engagement and succession planning to ensure long-term organizational strength.**Risk Management & ESG*** Anticipate and mitigate operational and financial risks through proactive planning.* Champion sustainability and ESG initiatives, including energy efficiency, climate resiliency, and compliance with evolving standards.**Prior Experience:*** **10+ years of progressive leadership experience** in property management, asset management, or retail real estate operations.* Proven track record of **managing large, complex portfolios** and delivering measurable financial and operational results.* Expertise in **budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight**, with strong analytical and strategic planning skills.* Demonstrated success in **tenant relations** and driving customer-centric initiatives.* Experience implementing **technology solutions and sustainability programs** within property operations.* Strong background in **team leadership**, including talent development and succession planning.**Core Competencies*** **Customer-Centric Mindset:** Committed to creating exceptional experiences throughout the customer journey.* **Strategic Thinking:** Ability to translate vision into actionable plans that drive long-term value.* **Leadership Excellence:** Skilled in mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and building a culture of innovation.* **Financial Expertise:** Strong analytical skills to manage budgets, optimize performance, and deliver results.* **Relationship Building:** Adept at cultivating partnerships with tenants, stakeholders, and internal teams.* **Adaptability & Innovation:** Embraces change and leverages technology to enhance operations and customer engagement.**Compensation*** **$230k–$255k per year + annual discretionary bonus.*** Exempt-level opportunity* This is an onsite position located at **Westfield Valley Fair**.**What is important to us**Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) is driven by an entrepreneurial foundation of talented and ambitious employees who embrace change, strive for innovation, and know when to venture into uncharted terrain.
