About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Global Commercial Asset Lead to spearhead the end-to-end global commercialization strategy and launch of its first product. The successful candidate will be a key member of the commercial team, driving all aspects of brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution. This pivotal role demands an exceptional leader with a can-do attitude, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed, and highly visible environment. Responsibilities include developing and owning the global brand strategy, leading the cross-functional Global Asset Team, and serving as the single point of accountability for global launch readiness. The role also involves building and leading a high-performing brand team, partnering with clinical and medical affairs for lifecycle management, and ensuring ethical and regulatory compliance in all commercialization activities. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and at least 15 years' of progressive experience in biopharmaceutical commercialization, with a strong preference for those with a background in rare disease and/or specialty commercialization. The ideal candidate will have deep strategic marketing expertise, proven U.S. product launch experience, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Exceptional cross-functional leadership, influencing skills, and a proactive, results-oriented, patient-centric mindset are essential. The role requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive results without direct authority, and ensure strong collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams. The VP, Global Commercial Asset Lead will also be responsible for P&L and performance management, including global revenue forecasting and managing the commercial budget for the product.
