Summary
We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our compassionate team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Loomis, CA. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality mental health and addiction treatment, helping clients achieve meaningful change in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support clients' mental health needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Provide crisis management support as needed.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Active state licensure as a therapist (ACSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, APCC, LPC).
- Proven experience in psychotherapy and addiction counseling.
- Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
