We're looking for a skilled professional to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills while producing high-quality, short-run components used in industrial and commercial paint sprayer systems.This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with engineering, create programs from blueprints, perform machine setups, and see projects through from concept to finished product.Why Join Our Team?Competitive CompensationEmployee Stock Incentive ProgramComprehensive Benefits PackageStrong Career Growth OpportunitiesExpand Your Programming & Machining SkillsWork with Modern CNC EquipmentCollaborative Engineering & Manufacturing EnvironmentStable Company with Long-Term Growth FocusClean, Well-Maintained Machine ShopKey ResponsibilitiesProgram new CNC parts and components using Mastercam.Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills for short-run production.Create machining programs directly from blueprints and engineering drawings.Collaborate with engineering teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes.Perform approximately 3-4 machine setups per week.Operate and monitor 1-3 machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity.Adjust machine offsets, perform tool changes, and optimize machining processes.Inspect finished parts using: micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, other precision measuring equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and dimensional tolerances.Perform self-inspections and document quality results.Support production of components utilized in downstream assembly operations.Required QualificationsAssociate's Degree or Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Machining, or a related field.Minimum 1 year of Mastercam programming experience.Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and CNC mills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.Experience using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.Strong knowledge of: CNC machine setup, tool changes, offsets, CNC operations.Ability to manage multiple machines while maintaining quality standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision manufacturing.Preferred QualificationsExperience performing complete machine setups on equipment such as: Haas Mills, Citizen Swiss Machines, Mazatrol Machines.G-Code and M-Code programming experience.Experience across various CNC machining centers and machine platforms.Familiarity with industrial manufacturing components and mechanical assemblies.Experience working in low-volume or short-run production environments.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a large, modern, and exceptionally well-maintained machine shop. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
