Jack in the Box – Assistant Manager: Store 5364 Wildomar, CA 92595 – $20.00 – $24.00 hour – full time Job Description Responsible for managing restaurant operations in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities include providing excellent internal and external service, building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing levels; implement training systems; identify internal candidates for management and team leader positions; execute “My Promise to You” and SPC; create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe environment; treat all employees with care and respect; motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance; comply with labor laws and regulations. External Service: Manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence; train employees and hold team accountable for guest service and food quality; monitor adherence to JIB systems, procedures, and food safety; respond to guest concerns in a timely and professional manner; maintain clean and safe restaurant; serve as a role model for guest service. Higher Profits: Partner with the Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance; identify trends and develop action plans; use data to improve business results; monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in a customer‑service environment and 100% certified in all workstations; or minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum age 18; complete Assistant Manager training; ServSafe certified; strong communication and interpersonal skills; basic math ability; analytical and organizational skills; self‑starter; computer proficiency; valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel; integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements: Stand and walk 85–95% of shift; lift 10–65 lbs; operate equipment and vehicle; use computer keyboard.
