Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Modesto, CA. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or OTA program.
• Active California OTA license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. (Client may require BLS at hire.)
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and transfer training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow treatment plans established by a licensed Occupational Therapist and document progress in electronic medical records.
• Ability to work with geriatric population and patients with complex medical comorbidities preferred.
