Lead Clinical Quality Analyst

Overview The MITRE Corporation is seeking a Lead Clinical Quality Analyst to work in our CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare FFRDC. In this role, you will provide analysis and strategic support regarding the development and use of clinical quality measures to the Department of Health and Human Services and other Federal Civilian Agencies as needed. This position requires knowledge of existing clinical quality measures, an understanding of how measures are developed, and familiarity with clinical quality measure specifications. You will write descriptions of measures, including their uses and limitations, suitable for a non-technical audience. Responsibilities Provide analysis and strategic support regarding the development and use of clinical quality measures for federal health agencies. Write descriptions of measures, including uses and limitations, suitable for non-technical audiences. Interface with high-ranking members of federal healthcare agencies and contribute to innovative clinical quality measures programs. Guide approaches to solutions based on a clinical understanding of issues. Qualifications Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field Nursing or healthcare quality measure credentials strongly preferred 7 years of relevant experience with healthcare quality measures and clinical standards experience a plus Willingness to travel to the Woodlawn (Baltimore), MD facility as needed to meet with customers Travel: This position may require 10% travel to the Woodlawn (Baltimore), MD office.
