Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritises wellness and safety, and models proficiency through precepting new staff. Emphasises continuous learning and adapts to a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in the PCU setting. Support safety, quality, and patient-centered practices. Participate in specialty education and competency validation. Precept and mentor new healthcare team members. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure. Minimum 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program. Current BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized organizations, valid through sixty days of hire. Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to evidence-based care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
