Position Details:

• Start Date: August 6, 2026 (Teachers), August 17, 2026 (Students)
• End Date: June 2, 2027
• Number of Openings: 2
• Hours per week: 37.5, Monday–Friday
• Caseload: Approximately 40-50 students, primarily K–5 but with possible pre-K and secondary students
• Locations: Three school sites and additional coverage for Head Start and a private school student

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license for North Carolina
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Ability to supervise an SLPA
• DHHS Pre-K background check required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services
• Document sessions and progress through ECATS
• Complete and manage paperwork for IEPs, including case management when necessary
• Set up/facilitate IEP meetings
