Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive and collaborative elementary school environment. Beginning August 10th, 2026, this contract opportunity runs through December 2026, with the potential to extend through the academic year. You’ll cover a maternity leave alongside an additional SLP and an SLPA, serving students in three medically fragile classrooms. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
• Prior school-based SLP experience preferred, particularly with medically fragile populations
• Demonstrated proficiency with AAC devices and alternative communication systems
• Collaborative spirit—comfortable working closely with fellow SLPs, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong documentation, case management, and family communication skills
• Ability to adapt interventions and goals to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students with complex medical needs
• Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals and data-driven interventions
• Integrate AAC devices and train students, staff, and families in their use
• Work hand-in-hand with another SLP, the assigned SLPA, and teaching faculty to ensure consistency in service
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and reporting for all assigned students
• Consult and collaborate with caregivers and educational teams, contributing insights for annual reviews and team planning
