Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact this school year supporting students with complex needs by providing speech-language therapy services in an elementary school setting. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team—including another SLP and a SLPA—focusing on medically fragile classrooms. This is a contract role with a projected start date of August 10, 2026, through December 2026, covering a maternity leave. While the assignment is set for the fall semester, there may be an opportunity to extend through the remainder of the academic year.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver speech and language therapy for students in three specialized classrooms with medically fragile populations
• Use AAC devices to support students with severe communication needs
• Collaborate with your SLP colleague, SLPA, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
• Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and ensure compliance with all required guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
• Adapt your approach to meet the individual and diverse needs of each student

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current SLP-CCC
• School-based SLP experience, particularly with medically fragile students
• Demonstrated background working with AAC devices and alternative communication supports
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and school processes
• Excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
