Working with a customer to understand every pain point, PARS develops a metrics-driven solution that can combine any or all of its services — vehicle driveaway, auto carrier service, storage management, license and titling, reconditioning & make-ready, detailing, body work, mechanical repair, and general maintenance services.Job SummaryThe Recruiter partners with field offices to build robust independent contractor pipelines, execute recruitment strategies, and deliver a seamless candidate experience. Key responsibilities include sourcing for active and passive candidates, performing initial outreach, and screening qualifications. This hybrid position must function during core business hours and allows for telecommuting in accordance with PARS guidelines. (7001 Heritage Village Plaza, Gainesville, VA 20155).Essential Responsibilities, not limited toDevelop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks, and other community groups).Identify and engage both active and passive qualified 1099 talent utilizing sourcing platforms.Execute high-volume outreach via text, phone calls, and email to connect with on-the-go transportation independent contractors.Conduct phone screens to assess basic qualifications and compliance with DOT regulations, communication skills, and pay expectations.Maintain accurate candidate data, update statuses, and log activity in the company's tracking system.Track recruitment metrics and gather data on competitor contracting trends, compensation rates, and talent availability.Organizational CompetenciesConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.Exhibit and reinforce PARS standards and core values (Respect, Commitment, Collaboration, Results) to deliver an exceptional customer experience.Ability to learn and utilize all PARS systems and equipment and all updates/upgrades.Adhere to organizational goals and objectives while maintaining quality standards.Act with integrity and professionalism.Demonstrate open, effective communication and teamwork.Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.Job CompetenciesHigh emotional intelligence, strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and resilience.Respond and act confidently, assertively, and decisively while taking responsibility and accountability for position requirements.Ability to conduct thorough, engaging screenings to put candidates at ease while accurately assessing their character, competence, and compatibility.Ability to navigate market shifts, changing business priorities, and handle rejection gracefully.Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education is preferred.Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in talent acquisition or independent contractor sourcing with a proven track record of placing candidates.
