Shuttle Driver / Facility Technician

Compensation: $20hr Location: El Monte CA Shift: 6am-3pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate a company-provided vehicle to shuttle collections and parts from one facility to another.
• Maintain vehicles clean and report any malfunction promptly.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with all DOT standards and regulations.
• Transport and deliver goods in accordance with the schedule.
• Unload or assist in unloading freight.
• Refurbish carbon tanks and clean reverse osmosis membranes.
• May be required to perform occasional field work based on needs.
• May be required to work overtime as necessary.
• Excessive driving, frequent travel with overnight stays, weekend on-call duty may be required on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or relevant experience with stable work history.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical mechanical devices, and/or construction preferred.
• Ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess a valid drivers' license with a clean and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Basic proficiency with math skills and diagnostic tools including handheld devices.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
