Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Assist with real estate transactions, document review, record keeping, and contract management efficiently.
Overview
The Legal Assistant / Paralegal provides support to a dealership realty team, assisting with real estate transactions, document review, record keeping, and other legal administrative duties. The role involves project management and coordination of various aspects of real estate contracts and operations.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and obtaining approval for real estate documents
- Exhibit reviews and record keeping
- Collection of documentation and notarization of legal documents
- Submitting financial requests and tracking approval flow for environmental and real estate contracts
- Maintaining record keeping and approval databases
- Supporting all levels of dealership real estate transactions and related operations
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience as a corporate or commercial real estate paralegal or related role
- Proficient understanding of the real estate process and legal documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to establish professional relationships internally and externally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs
- Ability to manage challenges, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Paralegal certificate
- Active Notary Public
- Experience managing legal documentation and contracts
- Strong learning agility and adaptability
- Stable employment history with at least 2 years at the same company
- Direct real estate paralegal experience or strong transferable skills
