About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Compliance Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the organization, responsible for proactively assessing, managing, and mitigating regulatory risks. This role requires a high level of organization, confidence, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The Compliance Officer will work closely with senior management, product and business line leaders, regulators, and operations teams to ensure that the company grows responsibly and in compliance with all relevant regulations. The position is highly interactive and has a broad influence across the organization, making it essential for the candidate to be a team-oriented professional who can also work independently. Applicants for the Compliance Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in compliance and/or mortgage/consumer loan experience. A Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification is a plus. The role demands a candidate who is highly motivated, creative, and professional, with a solid background in compliance and a sound knowledge of consumer regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in research, analysis, project management, and multitasking, and must be adept at interacting with all levels of management, staff, and external parties such as auditors, examiners, attorneys, and regulators.
