Position: Production Specialist; Test Operator

Location: Watertown, South Dakota

Basic Purpose of Position:

The Manufacturing Specialist - Test Operator position performs routine production tasks in various areas on the production floor such as repetitive dimensional, electrical, or mechanical test and inspection procedures or visually checking piece parts, units, sub and/or final assemblies. This position may also involve operating a selective solder or wave solder machines. Your contributions will help us continue our journey towards Winning as One: One company. One team. One purpose. Day to day responsibilities:

• Run functional tests and log outcomes
• Inspect incoming materials
• May perform physical tests on materials
• May reference blueprints, interpret dimensioning shown and review inspection results
• Complete paperwork/documentation
• Enter/extract data in computer
• Performs printed circuit insertions and other manual assembly tasks
• Prepares printed circuit boards, electronic components
• Responsible for the proper use of simple machines and hand tools to accomplish tasks
• Responsible for learning and conforming to industry standards for solder connections
• Set up work stations and machines using all descriptive and instructional material related to the job assignment
• Responsible for following instructions explicitly to complete the assigned operation.

Requirements:

• This position reports to work onsite - this is not a remote position.
• Citizenship- Must be ITAR Compliant All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not sponsor Visas.
• Education- High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer Skills: Basic computer navigation skills required.
• Physical: Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation. Full physical requirements outlined in attachment.
• Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend spoken work instructions in English.
• Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment
• Keep work area neat and organized.
• Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay is $17-19/hour

1st Shift hours: Monday-Thursday - (5am-3pm)

Overtime may be expected on Fridays.
