Escrow Officer Job Responsibilities Bring residential and commercial escrows to a close. Read closing instructions and balance file. Prepare documents for closing, recording, and issuing all checks. Contact title company, lenders, and customers to resolve questions and issues. Receive closing packages from notary signers. Review closing documents for accuracy and send out funding documents. Handle the complete disbursement and follow‑up of all escrow transactions. Review title to confirm liens are released or the appropriate documentation is received. Prepare title policy and review recordings for accuracy before forwarding the complete file to the County Recorder or internal Recording Department. Qualifications 3+ years title/escrow experience. Excellent computer skills. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team environment.
