Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional or Behavioral Technician (BT) in school settings
• Familiarity supporting students with ASD or other special needs
• Ability to implement classroom strategies and behavior plans effectively
• Professional, patient, and adaptable demeanor; strong interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher with direct instruction and positive behavior support
• Provide individualized or small group assistance to students based on their learning needs
• Support with classroom organization, maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere
• Help implement individualized educational goals under teacher supervision
• Foster positive, trusting relationships with students and staff
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student development plans
