This full-time, contract role is designed for those who are passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and providing essential support to both students and teachers. The position follows a Monday through Thursday schedule, giving you a long weekend every week and a consistent routine.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar support role in educational settings
• Comfort and skill in working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in student development
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant training a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with ASD in classroom activities, adapting approaches to individual needs
• Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff to implement educational and behavioral plans
• Foster an encouraging, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for all students
• Support transitions between classroom activities and assist with personal or mobility needs as required
• Provide feedback to instructional staff about student progress and engagement
