Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator oversees and keeps records of all shipping and receiving. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for organizing, sorting, and transferring goods from one location to another.

The position schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, along with every third Saturday. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Monitor company packages from start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices
• Deliver packages received to offices & personnel throughout the campus
• Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure timely delivery
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and work to resolve them
• Ensure there are sufficient supplies required for shipping
• Drive to local post office daily to drop off outgoing mail
• Occasionally drive to bank to make deposit or cash check on behalf of Controller

Qualifications include:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Drive for extended amount of time (up to 2 hours)
• Walk up and down stairs carrying boxes up to 10 lbs.
• Place boxes on hand truck and use hand truck to deliver packages
• Reach and extend when preparing boxes for shipment
• Sit for extended periods of time (up to 1 hour)
