Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversees audit planning, field work, and reporting, communicating findings and recommendations
• Conducts audit and review engagements from start to finish
• Assesses compliance by examining, analyzing, and verifying financial records
• Consults with clients on internal accounting related transactions as needed
• Recommends changes to management and accounting operations to improve compliance
• Provides strategic and tactical accounting advice to clients
• Reviews work product and performance of entry level staff
• Assists partners and managers on consulting engagements
• Builds job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification, or actively pursuing CPA
• Minimum 3+ years of current public accounting experience
• Proficiency with computerized accounting software and MS Office
• Strong client rapport and project management skills
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and coach new staff while managing multiple projects at once
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex financial information
