Truck Technician / Mechanic

Our Truck Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing on‑highway trucks to ensure the customer receives maximum value for work performed. Physical & Working Requirements This role involves hands‑on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. These functions may include: Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods Safely operating tools and equipment Our Ideal Candidate Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Knowledge of use of various on‑highway trucks Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications Valid Class A CDL or B CDL or the ability to obtain one What Will Put You Ahead Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically with Class 8 trucks) Stable work history All makes and models of engine rebuilds Class A CDL Foley Industries, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (Race/Gender/Veteran/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity).
