What we’re seeking:

• Valid NC Special Education Certification
• Demonstrated experience in K-12 special education classrooms, preferably with both inclusion and adaptive caseloads
• Ability to design and implement IEPs to address students’ unique learning needs
• Strong skills in communicating with students, families, and educational teams
• Organizational proficiency and flexibility to manage duties across multiple campuses if needed
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Implement and monitor IEPs, collecting and reporting progress data
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Create engaging lessons that accommodate a range of abilities
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social development
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings
