Position: Receiving Agent

Pay: $16.00 per hour – day shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Agent to join our freight forwarding warehouse team. This position is responsible for unloading freight, processing inbound shipments, managing inventory, and accurately locating handling units using scanners and warehouse equipment. Candidates with reach truck experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Unload inbound freight safely and efficiently.

Process receiving paperwork and verify shipment accuracy.

Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory and handling units.

Locate and move handling units throughout the warehouse on foot and by reach truck.

Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.

Maintain an organized and clean work area.

Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions and assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.

Reach truck experience is a plus.

Experience using RF scanners preferred.

Ability to lift, move, and handle freight safely.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable attendance and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
