SERVER ASSISTANT

Server AssistantReports to: Director of Food and Beverage/Dept ManagerThe Server Assistant will interact one on one with guests dining in the outlets. Service will include assisting servers, providing water service, running, and serving food, completing room service orders, clearing, and resetting tables utilizing club service standards, anticipate and monitoring guests' needs, and ensure satisfaction. This will also include preparing dining rooms and back of house for service, keeping all areas clean and immaculate. The server assistants will maintain top-level product knowledge, knowing aspects of the menu and beverage offerings.Responsibilities:Restaurant service at Little Horse Tavern will require elevated service knowledge and skill, consistently following sequence of service utilizing proper procedures and standardsProviding guests exceptional service throughout all phases of their experience at the club while commanding menu knowledge and preparation methods of both food and beverages, including specials and 86'd itemsCompletion of all opening and closing side work responsibilitiesKnowledge of table, seat, station numbers, table set upAttending daily line-ups/pre-shift meetingsMaintaining all equipment, tools, and supplies while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and local health department communicate any equipment problems with managementWorking as a team and effectively communicating with management, fellow servers, and support staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other team membersBe knowledgeable for all activities and events onsite and in the cityMaintain confidentiality of all members and restaurant informationFollows grooming and uniform standards established for this roleWorking as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workersEnsure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environmentAlways being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team membersPerforms all other duties as directed by immediate supervisorsQualifications:1 year experience as a Server Assistant, Busser, or Food Runner, including experience in high-end restaurants, hotel or club environmentKnowledge of Food, Spirits, Wine, BeerMust possess a positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure as a teamMost work tasks are performed indoors, some outdoor will be requiredMust be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks and physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glasswareExcellent customer service skillsPunctuality and regular and reliable attendanceMust be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demandsMust have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energeticBenefits:Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (Safe Harbor 401k, Traditional & Roth Options)Life & AD&D InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Holidays)Paid Short Term DisabilityFamily Leave (Paid Maternity & Paternity)Professional Training & Development**Fitler Club uses e-verify for employment eligibility verification
