Description

Position Overview: Full-time dayshift with call.

Pre-Employment Requirements: We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Job Requirements:

• Current Alabama Registered Nursing License.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card (By the completion of the ninety-day probationary period).
• ACLS preferred.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate all skills required of a staff RN.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a strong customer service focus.
• Strong assessment, organizational and problem-solving skills as evidenced by the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and role components required.
• Ability to function independently and exercise judgment in interactions with physicians, inter-professional care team and patients, and their families.
