Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION


Deliver clearly documented functional, system and process requirements. Works with clients to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis and use cases. Evaluates the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client's business requests and needs and translates and refines the requirements into functional specifications.. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead a project or group.

1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).


Mainly GIS research to identify new participants in gas/electric extensions. Additional tasks: requesting RFPs for customer refunds, handling returned checks (finding updated addresses or contacting AP Accounting), and monthly reporting. Majority of work is GIS-based, with some SAP work for RFP processing


2. What does a typical day look like?
• Daily GIS research for new connections/extensions.
• Run monthly report to review 150+ accounts, closing or updating them.
• Create RFPs and push them to SAP.
• dd notes in GIS/ETP system.
• Occasionally respond to ad hoc extension-related inquiries
