As a Lead Accountant, you will oversee daily accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and assist management with budgeting and forecasting. You will play a key role in process improvement, audit preparation, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Experience - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory roles
Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
Knowledge - Solid understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
Skills - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Technical - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Commute - Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)

Job Description
As a Lead Accountant, you will oversee daily accounting functions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and assist management with budgeting and forecasting. You will play a key role in process improvement, audit preparation, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the accounting team in day-to-day operations
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation
