City: Hillsborough HR Generalist About the role In this role you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources function by coordinating hiring, employee records, onboarding, and HR processes. You will be the point of contact for employees and managers, helping ensure HR activities are organized, compliant, and delivered efficiently. Your responsibilities Prepare, lead, and facilitate weekly, full‑day New Hire Orientation sessions for all new hires. Manage the 30/60/90‑day check‑in process by partnering with managers to assess new hire performance, documenting outcomes, and maintaining records in shared systems. Ensure compliance with local labor laws by maintaining required postings and supporting adherence across the site. Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general matters as they arise. Maintain and update employee records, communication boards, employee text platforms, and digital channels to ensure consistent site messaging. Participate in special projects related to training, onboarding, recruitment, and broader corporate or global initiatives (e.g., T&A projects, employee handbook updates, quarterly/annual programs). Actively support recruitment for hourly employees on the site in close partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team. The experience we're looking for Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role. High school diploma is required. Previous experience coordinating employee engagement initiatives, including recognition events, volunteer activities, and site‑wide programs. Previous manufacturing or large retail experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach team processes. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to report on site 5 days per week.
