Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM / Monday-Friday
Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packaging them according to specifications. This role requires meeting production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related components following work instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation to build products to specification
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and reports related to discrepancies or defects
- Perform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Inventory tools, parts, and supplies and coordinate with materials handlers for replenishment
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate quality or production issues to supervisors
- Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a safety-focused attitude
- Support production demands by adhering to scheduled hours, overtime requirements, and assigned break periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read measuring tools and follow written instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Must be dependable and maintain good attendance
- Steel toe boots required
