They are looking more scripting experience, more in-depth experience with the AWS cloud and more experience in troubleshooting incidents and issues.
Skills:
- Automation focus with Ansible or strong Bash/Shell.
- Also need to have the standard Oracle stack with things like Dataguard, golden gate, RMAN, etc
Required skills and qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience as a Database Administrator, building and running database using cloud native services
- Strong knowledge of DBMS such as Oracle and Postgres
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance
