In support of company works across internal business partners (e.g., Accounting, Facilities, IT, HR, Customer Service) to optimize the effectiveness and execution of the Landscape operation within a geographic region. Minimum Qualifications Education High School or GED required. Two-year college degree or technical school in business or related field preferred. Experience Requires at least five years of landscaping managerial and supervisory experience. Three + years of managing multiple teams is preferred. Ideally, the incumbent has proven success with overseeing a large operation while driving performance improvement and consistently achieving sales goals. Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time). Valid Drivers License and state auto insurance Other Qualification, Skills, and Abilities Work Hours Technology Advanced ability to lead, build and develop multiple units of responsibility. Job Duties Job duties generally include, but are not limited to: Responsibility for directing operational units – irrigation, lawn and maintenance, pest control program, and ground maintenance. Ensure store performance meets requirements, sales goals are achieved, and aftermarket goods are appropriately transported and stored. Manages the Account Manager to ensure oversight of technicians and jobs are handled properly. Administer various HR processes, policies and requirements such as hiring, training, developing staff, including coaching and disciplinary action; complete necessary documentation requirements. Communicate job expectations; complete planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing of job performance. Enforce policies, procedures and expectations of Executive Management. Achieve operational objectives by completing reporting and trending activities, contributing sales information, making recommendations to address gaps and advance revenue, identify strategic action plans, and meeting budget requirements. Maintain appropriate ratios of expense and revenue; generate revenue in accordance with budget, expenses and bottom-line contributions. Meet sales/financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assist with preparing annual store budgets with VP Landscape Consulting and initiate corrective actions with declining sales. Manage implementation of production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolve day-to-day issues; complete operational audits; facilitate organizational change initiatives. Facilitate implementation of procedural and technological changes by communicating, educating, monitoring impact of change, and identifying additional training or actions as needed. Assure safety and security compliance requirements are met (including safeguarding company property, reporting unsafe practices, incidents of theft, stashing, misappropriation, unauthorized use/possession of company property, maintaining communication with Director of Risk Management). Other duties as assigned.
