Assistant Property ManagerPosition SummaryThe Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. This role focuses on tenant relations, leasing support, financial administration, and property maintenance coordination to ensure smooth operations and high tenant satisfaction.Key Responsibilities1. Tenant RelationsServe as a primary point of contact for tenants regarding inquiries, complaints, and service requestsAssist in resolving tenant issues promptly and professionallyCoordinate move-ins and move-outs, including inspectionsEnsure lease compliance and community rule enforcement2. Leasing & MarketingAssist with marketing available units (online listings, tours, follow-ups)Conduct property tours for prospective tenantsProcess rental applications and perform background/credit checksPrepare lease agreements and renewal documentsMaintain occupancy goals and minimize vacancy rates3. Financial AdministrationAssist in rent collection and follow up on delinquenciesPrepare and maintain accurate financial recordsSupport budget tracking and expense monitoringProcess invoices and coordinate vendor paymentsGenerate monthly performance and occupancy reports4. Maintenance CoordinationReceive and document maintenance requestsSchedule repairs with maintenance staff or external vendorsConduct regular property inspectionsEnsure compliance with safety and local housing regulations5.
