Department Training Manager - Security

Job Summary Responsible for comprehensive onboarding, skill and service training for Security Operations personnel, including Security Officers (armed & unarmed), Security Greeters, Patrol Officers, and Corporals. Develops, conducts, and tracks training for new hires and existing team members, determines training needs, prepares and updates materials, creates schedules, and ensures compliance with STYLE service standards. Responsibilities Facilitate department‑specific STYLE service training. Coordinate and deliver compliance training. Develop and facilitate onboarding for newly hired team members. Administer, update, and grade quizzes or tests measuring knowledge retention. Lead V‑Briefs and other briefings upon request. Assist with interviewing and hiring of new security team members when requested. Perform needs analysis, compile data, and work with management to determine training requirements. Monitor and maintain records of personnel certifications and licenses, notifying management of expirations. Develop course curricula and implement new or revised training programs, seminars, and workshops. Select or create teaching aids such as handouts, visual aids, and demonstration models. Customize materials for a gaming environment as needed. Maintain records of training activities and team members’ progress. Provide weekly updates to management on training status. Perform miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 1–3 years of related experience in developing and delivering training content. Experience working with all levels of management and team members. Experience coaching and providing feedback (preferred). Bilingual in Spanish (a plus). Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong guest‑service orientation and attention to detail. Strong relationship‑building skills. Excellent time‑management, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects. Self‑starter who can adapt to change. Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate company and team members’ needs. Benefits 401(k) with company match. Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with employer contribution.
