As an accountant you help ensure every donor contribution is accurately managed and leveraged to create meaningful outcomes for youth across our communities, directly supporting our mission and strengthening the impact of mentoring programs throughout the region. What You’ll Do Processing accounts payable transactions Managing employee P‑Card expense reporting and reconciliation Recording bank activity, deposits, reimbursements, and cash transactions Preparing vendor payments and weekly check runs Maintaining accurate general ledger entries Performing monthly bank reconciliations and researching discrepancies Assisting with month‑end close activities Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting procedures Maintaining organized financial records and documentation Supporting audits, reporting cycles, and special projects as needed Core Competencies Customer focus and service orientation Integrity and strong ethical standards Quality and accuracy in work products Effective written and verbal communication Self‑management and accountability Planning and organizational excellence Achievement orientation Adaptability and resilience Strong analytical thinking and decision‑making skills Company Description When you join BBBS Lone Star, you’re helping ensure that every donor contribution is accurately managed and leveraged to create meaningful outcomes for youth across our communities.
